Can you help me with the flight tickets to the jungle?

We can help arranging the flight tickets for the jungle tour for you. If you would like to book the flight tickets with us, please send us an e-mail with the prefered schedule and we book the flight tickets for you. We will send you the e-tickets by e-mail.

I travel alone, what are my options for a jungle tour?

You can book a shared room with a person from the same gender. If you prefer to have a single room a single supplement will be added to the price. This supplement depends on the jungle lodge. For more information about this options, please contact us.

Frequently asked questions: when and how do I receive my documents needed for my jungle tour?

After we have received your full payment, you will receive all necessary information (voucher for the tour, flight tickets and information letter) by e-mail. If you stay in a hotel/hostel in Quito, someone from our staff can come by your hotel/hostel and leave all the documents with you. Just let us know where you stay and we take care of the rest!

How do I make a reservation?

If you see a jungle tour of your interest on our website you can write us an e-mail and we will check if the jungle tour is available for the dates you would like to travel. If the tour is available, we will take an option for you for the tour and will ask you for the payment. Here for we will send you an invoice.  Once we received the payment we will make the reservation for the tour for you. After receiving the voucher for the tour from the jungle lodge, we will send it to you by e-mail.

If you prefer, you can always send us an e-mail with questions and preferences and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

Frequently asked questions: How can I pay for the tour?

  • By making a bank transfer into our Ecuadorian bank account. We charge a $40 fee to cover expenses that the banks charges us for receiving your money.
  • By credit card. Here we have to charge 4% administration costs.
    We will have to add this to the amount due.
  • By Western Union Bank.
  • Cash. If you are already in Ecuador, you can pay the tour in cash (US Dollars) or deposit the money directly into our Ecuadorian bank account.

Do I have to pay directly for the jungle tour?

If you book a last minute with us, then yes we need to receive payment as soon as possible. Unfortunately the jungle lodges don’t accept a last minute reservation without full payment. If you book a tour further ahead in time then we ask for a 25% deposit to make your reservation and full payment 60 days before departure.

What do I need to bring to the jungle?

  • one or two extra towels;
  • slippers;
  • hiking shoes;
  • socks;
  • shorts;
  • light weight trousers;
  • swimming gear;
  • fleece jacker or light jumper (for at night);
  • cap or hat;
  • sun screen;
  • mosquito repellent.
  • camara;
  • passport;
  • personal toiletries.
    You can take a maximum of 20 kilos to the jungle if you fly. We recommend not to bring any food because of the humidity in the Amazon basin.

Are there any extra costs besides the jungle tour?

Besides the cost for the jungle tour you also have to pay for your flight tickets if you like to fly to Coca or Lago Agrio.
Furthermore a small entrance fee to the local communities is asked for. Drinks like water, tea, coffee, are usually included. For soft and alcoholic drinks there are additional costs. Also take into account that you will be asked to leave a tip for the crew members and the guide.

Are meals and beverages included during the tour?

During the tour 3 meals a day are included, starting with a box lunch on day 1 and ending with breakfast on the last day of the tour. Also coffee, tea and water are included. Not included are sodas and alcoholic beverages.
