Jamu Jungle Eco Lodge
Jamu, coming from the word Armadillo in Siona. The Jamu Jungle Eco Lodge is a beautiful, privately-owned lodge in the Cuyabeno Reserve. Here the guests can enjoy a variety of activities. The Jamu Lodge is located along the Cuyabeno River, 15 minutes down-river from the spectacular Laguna Grande.
The Jamu Lodge practices a policy of minimum environmental impact. The cabañas are all lit with candles. Solar panels provide the lodge with electricity. The lodge believes in true eco-tourism. It intends to make your stay as comfortable as possible while preserving the beauty of the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve for the future!
Cabañas
The Jamu Jungle Eco Lodge has 3 cabins and 2 towers. The Lodge is built in a tradition rustic style and high thatched roofs. Three of the cabins have 2 double rooms each (beds with mosquito nets); each with its own private bathrooms and a shower.
The two Towers have 8 double and 2 triple rooms. In a two-story cabin is the spacious dining room and the hammock room.
In the heart of the Jamu Lodge you will find a spacious dining room. The crew is proud to prepare and serve fresh food in such a secluded location. In this activity the lodge makes sure that fresh and local ingredients such as bananas and cassava. After the meals you can enjoy a cocktail at the bar or relax with a beer in the comfortable hammock lounge.
