The Piranha Jungle Ecolodge is located in the heart of the Amazon, close to the Colombian border. The Piranha Ecolodge offers eco-friendly accommodations where the wilderness meets comfort. The accommodations are made from wood, and bamboo and have a thatched roof, but have a modern and comfortable interior.

The Lodge offers 2 different types of rooms, namely the Double Standard room and the Double Superior room. Ecology is a high priority at the Piranha Lodge. For example, all the cabins are made from ecological materials from the Rainforest.
Double Standard Room (2 persons)
The double Standard Rooms are equipped with 2 comfortable beds, a private balcony with chairs and a table where you can relax, a private bathroom with hot and cold water, and enough storage space for all your belongings.
Superior double Room (2 persons)
The Double Superior Room is more spacious than the Standard Room but has similar facilities as the Double Standard Room. This room has a large and comfortable double bed, a private balcony with chairs and table where you can relax, a private bathroom with hot and cold water and enough storage space for all your belongings.

Piranha Jungle Ecolodge Activities
The Piranha Jungle Lodge provides many activities and different tours. You can choose between a 3-day to 5-day tour at the lodge.
The guide of the lodge will greet you and the other travelers at the Cuyabeno Bridge and escort you to the lodge. This is where you will first encounter extraordinary nature for the first time and meet the first animals on the way to the lodge.
Depending on how many days you stay at the lodge you will experience different activities. During the day you will be out on the water in the canoe, looking for animals. Or you will hike through the jungle in search of medical plants that local communities still use as medicines. You will also spend 1 day visiting a local community, meeting the Shaman and learning more about life there.
At night you will also go out on the water, looking for the animals that are active at night such as caimans, insects and snakes. You can also join the night walks around the lodge.
The guides know many fun things to do, such as fishing piranhas for dinner or swimming in Laguna Grande with a beautiful Amazon sunset. There is no doubt that you will have a great time at Piranha lodge.
