Piranha Jungle Ecolodge
The Piranha Ecolodge is located in the Cuyabeno protected forest reserve in the Ecuadorian Amazon Jungle.
The Amazon, one of the wonders of our planet, contains an abundance of unique flora and fauna.
Monkeys, sloths, anteaters, armadillos, tapirs, jaguars, manatees, and freshwater dolphins are just some of the mammals that live in the Amazon region. Along with a great variety of reptiles such as snakes, caiman, and the great anaconda and numerous of fishes, including Paiche (Arapaima), measuring over 3 meters in length and the famous piranha.
The Piranha Ecolodge consists of private bungalows. Each of the private bungalows has been recently refurbished maintaining a rustic design, reflective of the rich indigenous culture that resides here. The rooms include beds with mosquito nets, private bathrooms with showers, and electricity in the common area.
The Piranha Ecolodge has built recently a new tower with four floors. The comfortable new suits offer you a beautiful and nice view over the Cuyabeno Forest.
